To book an art course a deposit of 10% will be taken on booking with the rest due
two months before the start of the art course.
Payment can be made by cheque to Academy Studios Abroad or by BACS directly to our
account of that name.
Booking and terms and conditions
Payment:
Payment of a deposit of 10% is required on booking.
The balance is normally required two months before the art start date of the course.
Cancellation:
The booking can be cancelled by you up to two months before the course date but
the deposit can only be refunded if the place can be subsequently filled. The full
payment (which is due two months before the date of the start of the course) can
only be refunded if we have a subsequent booking. We strongly recommend foreign
travel insurance which includes a cancellation policy. Of course if we can fill
the course dates, (every effort will be made to do so) we will refund in full. In
the unlikely event that we have to cancel the booking a full refund will be made.
The price includes:
All meals, outings, tuition and accommodation.
Does not include:
Airfares, taxis to and from the airport: we can advise if there are others arriving
on the same flight or train so that transport to Aubais might be shared.
Materials: we have arranged a 10% discount at Green and Stone of Chelsea (www.greenandstone.com). They will ship any art materials
for you to Aubais or alternatively you can purchase basic materials from us, if
ordered in advance.
Packing and shipping costs of getting your work home.
All prices are in sterling, please apply to us for prices in other currencies.

“You can look at a painting for a whole week and then never think about it again. You can also look at a painting for a second and think about it for the rest of your life.” Joan Miró (1893-1983)
“I have learned that what I have not drawn, I have never really seen, and that when I start drawing an ordinary thing I realise how extraordinary it is, sheer miracle.” Frederick Franck (1909-2006)
